About
PHAB
Public Health Association of Bangladesh is dedicated to promoting public health movements and creating a suitable atmosphere for healthful living.
Advancing Public Health in Bangladesh
To promote the Public Health movement in Bangladesh and create a suitable atmosphere for healthful living, thereby promoting the growth and development of a healthier nation, the Public Health Association of Bangladesh was formed.
It aims at organizing community efforts for early detection, prevention, and control of preventable diseases, promoting the formulation of health principles to be adopted in different public and private spheres according to the resources, aspirations, limitations, and environment of the people.
The movement is not a history of many years. Despite the biggest ongoing health program, the Health, Population, Nutrition Sector Program (HPNSP) in Bangladesh, the country still thrives for a situation ensuring health for all. The objective of the association is to promote and provide support to efforts at different levels.
