Dr. Jahid Hasan

Dr. Jahid Hasan obtained his MBBS degree from Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, followed by a Master’s in Health Economics from the University of Dhaka and an MPH from North South University. He is currently serving as a Research Officer at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) under the Government of Bangladesh.

As the Organizing Secretary of the Public Health Association of Bangladesh (PHAB), Dr. Hasan is dedicated to strengthening the nation’s public health system through research, innovation, and evidence-based policy advocacy. His vision is to contribute to building a resilient, equitable, and community-centered healthcare system in Bangladesh that ensures health for all.
